ASA COBRA

PT / BR

Asa Cobra is a Portuguese-Brazilian band formed in 2024, bringing together the poetic intensity of singer and lyricist Carollyne Barreira (Brazil) with the experience of producers and musicians Marco Castro and Igor Domingues. Inspired by Bezerra da Silva’s provocative maxim - “If God gave wings to the snake, the world wouldn’t be lost” - the band emerges as a sonic manifesto where revolt and love walk hand in hand.

Their musical identity blends Afro-Brazilian rhythms, electronic sounds, and organic elements, creating a soundscape that moves between the ethereal and the pulsating, between confrontation and whisper. Words occupy a central place, with multilayered lyrics reflecting both political tensions and the intimate forces shaping human experience.

With four singles released, ‘Asa à Cobra’, ‘Flutuar’, ‘Ponta de Lança’, and the latest ‘Puro Veneno’ - the band establishes itself as one of the most restless and poetic voices in contemporary Portuguese-language music. On stage, Asa Cobra delivers an intense performance, moving from power to intimacy, where sound, body, and message merge to create a sensory journey. Their debut album Revolta & Amor is set for release in May 2026.
